It’s been a busy few days! Lead staff training is going well! I think 2019 might be the best summer yet. Xander and Augustus have been staying busy with Grandma Debbie. They have been playing nonstop. I know it’s been busy because I have gone entire days in a row without taking any pictures except once they fall asleep.
Yesterday, we put the docs in and Xander supervised, yelling, “I said, watch out!” as we rolled the heavy pieces through the sand. It was very helpful. Today we swam for a a short time in the afternoon. I think we are going to spend a lot of time at the beach this summer!
Tomorrow is our last day of lead staff training. They are making quick progress on planning and readying camp for programming. Grandma Debbie will leave tomorrow afternoon, so the boys and I will have the afternoon and all of Saturday to relax and play before the 8 people training to be lifeguards arrive on Saturday.
