We had such a fun and exhausting day! We met the Nelson crew at Hidden Falls for a picnic and some adventuring. We ate our picnic lunch first and then headed to the beach to throw rocks and climb on trees. Then we hiked up to the actual hidden falls (hence the name). It was a LONG walk for Augustus’s little legs, but he kept up with the big kids! I should have taken more pictures because it was such a cool walk- it looked like something out of a fairy tale. <\/div>\n

The boys were dirty and sweaty when we got home, but they were very excited to find Grandma at our house. So they didn’t even pause to rest, they got busy playing until dinner! I can’t believe Augustus didn’t fall over at any point.

They played and played and then we ate, and then they played some more. It was early bath and bedtime tonight, but no arguments about it! A great start to what is supposed to be a hot week!<\/p>\n
